This is the only picture we have to remember my husband's father. We hope to locate one of him some day.

William (Bill) Thomas Riley was born 13 Dec 1931 in Baltimore, MD. He entered the Navy 17 July 1950 from Los Angeles, CA. Bill served in Korea on board the USS LST 715 which was at Hungnam harbor in Korea and a part of the evacuation of X Corps from the Chosin Reservoir in December 1950. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal with four stars, United Nations Service Medal, and Japanese Occupation Medal.

He married Patricia Ann DENNIS neé ORR in Kitsap Co., WA, 27 February 1955. He was stationed in Bremerton, Kitsap Co., WA. in the Pacific Reserve Fleet on Shore Duty. Bill was on a trip with his family in Los Angeles, CA visiting relatives when he died 22 Oct 1956. He is buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma, San Diego.
